The 2009 college football is drawing to a close and conclusions are sliding into place. With two weeks to go in the regular season, Week 12 told us the following:
1. Whether postseason possibilities fall into place in the ACC.
2. Who gets the upper hand during Rivalry Week in the Big Ten.
3. Whether the Pac 10 Conference race tends toward sanity or chaos.
4. Who will compete in the Big XII Championship Game.
5. Who are set to emerge as the contestants in the Conference USA Championship Game.

On Sunday, we learned that Bill Belichick is balls enough to go for his very own fourth and dumb play. As for the top level of football where the athletes do not (officially) get paid, we learned the following Saturday:
1. Whether the ACC Championship Game matchup is determined.
2. Who the Big Ten representative in the Rose Bowl is.
3. Who remains in contention for the Rose Bowl from the Pac 10.
4. Whether Texas makes it official in the Big XII South.
5. Which teams will remain eligible to be Bowling with the Stars.

Above all, we learned that Notre Dame is almost certainly not headed back to the BCS in 2009, since Navy is making their rivalry competitive for the first time since the Kennedy administration.
1. Whether the Atlantic Coast Conference will trend toward chaos or sanity in Week 10.
2. Whether the Big XII North will trend towards chaos or sanity in Week 10.
3. Who remains in the Big Ten title race.
4. How the Pac 10 bowl order starts to sort itself out.
5. Whether the Big East powers avoid tripping up before the dogfights to come.
