Who are these guys, anyways?
Currently, we’re three four guys with nothing better to do than blog about college football. We’re all affiliated with the high school and college quizbowl worlds to varying degrees, and decided to share our thoughts with the world Internet five people that read the site on a regular basis.

Q: Where’d you get the name?
Short answer: Blame Borglum, the silly Gator fan. He picked something and for some reason, we all liked it.
Long answer: While it’s true that Borglum did select the site’s nomenclature, the name comes from the Nov 6, 1976 Georgia-Florida game. The Gators, looking for their first SEC title, see a 27-13 halftime lead slip to 27-20. They go for it on 4th and 1 at the UF 29, and Earl Carr gets stuffed for no gain. Georgia takes momentum, wins 41-27, and coach Doug Dickey’s call earns the moniker “Fourth and Dumb”.

Ok… I stand corrected. I found the site off a link from google. It took me to a recruiting post by Chris. I refreshed the page and found the updates. Not to proud to say “I stand corrected”. Looking forward to a watching and talking college football.
